Your Creative Best

I stumbled across this fantastic gem

of a verse this afternoon, and I just

had to share it with all you creative,

passionate people out there.

It's from Galatians 6:4, The Message.

"Make a careful exploration of who you are

and the work you have been given,

and then sink yourself into that.

Don't be impressed with yourself.

Don't compare yourself with others.

Each of you must take responsibility

for doing the creative best you can

with your own life."

The creative best... Amazing little phrase there, isn't it? It's like an affirmation of your gift and the permission to explore that gift to your heart's content all rolled into one.

What a lovely feeling!
